CHRIST IS BORN! GLORIFY HIM!
Greetings in the New Born Christ!
With trumpets also, and the sound of the horn, O show yourselves joyful before the Lord, the King!
Secular and Spiritual preparations complete we rejoice in the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But, we must remember that our Faith is more than just about this one day or one season. Christ is born anew each and every day in Sacred Scripture and the words of the Liturgy of the Church when we put these to action in our lives.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Rev 3:20-21)
Jesus … said .. If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abodewith him. (John 14:23)
Let us be attentive to the symbolism of this season and re-invite Our Lord Jesus Christ to be born in the manger of our hearts
once again to make His abode with us that His works of healing will become manifest in our lives.
When we greet one another throughout the year with the words “Christ is in our midst and ever shall be!” let us remember that we have opened the door to His knocking and that He is TRULY in our midst and let our actions be our very testimony.
He hath remembered his mercy and truth toward the house of Israel; and all the ends of the world have seen the salvation of our God.
Though we are separated by miles, we are united through our prayers the Divine Liturgy.
I remain,
your most unworthy servant in Christ,
